EBC 2014+ BMW I8 1.5L Turbo/Electric Yellowstuff Front Brake Pads

Upgrade your BMW i8's braking performance with EBC Yellowstuff brake pads. These aramid fibre based brake pads offer high brake effect even from cold, making them suitable for both street and track driving. They don't require warm-up time and get even stronger under hard driving conditions.

Track-Tested Performance

EBC Yellowstuff brake pads have been used in the Swedish Camaro Cup and other race events where a stock caliper system is fitted. They are also the choice of 90% of Mazda MX5 Miata competitors in the UK race series. These pads have an unblemished record as rotor-friendly track pads for vehicles up to 2000 lbs weight or 200 BHP.

High-Friction Coefficient

Yellowstuff pads are high friction coefficient spirited street pads that are track capable on import, European sport, and fast imports. For trucks and SUV vehicles, Yellowstuff pads are great for towing/hauling as well as off-road use.

Thermic Black Coating

The Thermic Black coating on these brake pads is an anti-corrosion coating for long resistance against rust. It does not need to be removed before installation. Do not use brake cleaner or any other method to remove the Thermic Black coating from discs rotors. The coating will be removed in the pad swept area by the brake pads within the first 10 to 20 stops made after installation on the vehicle. Attempting to remove the coating with brake cleaner or any other method is not covered under EBC warranty.
