Return, Refund, and Claim Policy

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. We offer free returns for residential level 2 chargers only. All other items may be subject to return shipping cost and restocking fees.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at info@zevsociety.com with your order number and reason for return. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, we will offer one of the following that you prefer: An exchange of the merchandise, a non-transferable store credit, or a credit to the original payment method. Please note refunds for commercial charging products are subject to a 30% restocking fee that will be deducted from the return amount. This typically is due to set-up fees, transaction fees, and shipping costs. 

Aftermarket products return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Items returned without acceptable packaging are subject to a $10 repackaging fee through our distributor. 

Special Orders Certain aftermarket products may be designated as special-order in which a 10% special order return fee may apply. Special-Orders cannot be cancelled once ordered. ZEV Society LLC may refuse returns on special orders at anytime for any reason. 

Transaction Fees

Orders are subject to a 2.9% +.30c transaction fee that may not be refundable upon cancelation of an order. This is only applicable on orders over $2,000. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Custom-built charging stations, DIY kits, sale products, discounted products, clearance products, and special-order products are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. 

Damages and issues
Products must be inspected upon delivery and any damage or issue must be notified to us in writing within 48 hours of receiving.  

When signing for a delivery please do the following:

Take photos of the package and any damage areas.
Note damage or any missing items on the shipping paperwork prior to signing. 
Keep copy of signed shipping paperwork.
Accept the delivery.
Collect serial numbers of damaged components and invoice number.
Contact info@zevsociety.com within 48 hours.

Warranty ZEV Society LLC does not offer any warranty on the products it sells. All items are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only. Credit for defective merchandise will only be issued once the product is inspected and the claim approved by the manufacturer. Unless the manufacturer agrees to cover it, all return shipping for warranty items is the responsibility of the customer.

General
We reserve the right to reject any return, refund, exchange, or claim if this policy is not followed.
